Job summary

Arootah is seeking an experienced Trade Support Analyst to join its back-office trading team in Dubai. You will manage the full trade lifecycle, from booking and settlement to problem resolution, and support traders with pre-trade checks.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years in asset management or hedge funds, with strong settlement knowledge, reconciliation experience, and attention to detail; familiarity with Dodd-Frank/EMIR reporting is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to clients regarding trading needs, policies, procedures, and control measures
• Manage the full life cycle of a trade including booking, settlement, and problem resolution
• Assist Traders with pre-trade checks including security positions and cash balances
• Perform post-trade functions including confirmation and providing allocations to brokers
• Work with Prime Brokers, Administrators, and Custodians to ensure settlement and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor FX matching, netting, and ensure timely settlement to reduce risk
• Assist with onboarding new counterparties, markets, or trading systems
• Track currency hedges and monitor corporate actions
• Assist with reporting under Dodd Frank and EMIR and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience at an Alternative Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, or Family Office
• Experience dealing with the reconciliation and resolution of trade breaks
• Proven experience working with different asset classes in a high-volume environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of settlement practices and procedures
• Strong quantitative aptitude and understanding of financial concepts
• High level of organization and attention to detail
