Job summary

Arootah is seeking a senior portfolio manager to lead portfolio construction, risk management, and strategic investment program execution for our alternative asset clients in Dubai. The role requires deep quantitative and qualitative research, with a focus on asset allocation and performance reporting.

The candidate will design and optimize investment processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate complex insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CFA designation required.
• Minimum 10+ years of portfolio management experience.
• 5+ years as an analyst or extensive trading experience.
• Proficiency with Morningstar Direct, FactSet, Bloomberg, or Aladdin.
• Deep understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee investment portfolios, including optimization, selection, cash management, and risk management.
• Develop and direct the execution of investment programs to achieve client objectives.
• Perform deep-dive fundamental research and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
• Build reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide strategic advice to Alternative Asset Managers and Family Offices to develop actionable investment plans.
• Evaluate client advancement toward goals using KPIs and scoring matrices.

• Proficiency in Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, or BlackRock Aladdin
• Deep understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management across public and private markets
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
