Job summary

Arootah is seeking a treasury operations professional to design cash management frameworks, funding coordination, and collateral optimization across asset classes. The role develops reconciliations for positions, open repos, and swaps, and establishes NAV oversight with fund administrators.

You will create collateral monitoring, counterparty frameworks, and treasury policies, while building dashboards, training teams, and supporting complex projects such as prime broker transitions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Alternative Asset Manager/ Hedge Fund Middle Office or similar.
• Understanding of fixed income, cash, and OTC derivatives.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, If/Then).
• Bloomberg data functions for live/historic market data.
• Comprehension of P&L calculations across security types.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design treasury operations frameworks for cash management, funding coordination, and collateral optimization
• Develop reconciliation processes and controls for position reconciliation, open repo, and swap agreements
• Establish NAV oversight and support procedures for monitoring fund administrators
• Create collateral management monitoring systems for tracking exposures and margin requirements
• Build counterparty management frameworks to track financing rates, costs, and credit limits
• Develop treasury policies, SLAs, and metrics for outsourced and insourced functions
• Create exception management and resolution protocols for books and records discrepancies
• Build treasury reporting and analytics tools, including dashboards and exposure updates
• Train treasury and operations teams on best practices and reconciliation techniques
• Support special projects such as prime broker transitions and treasury system evaluations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Alternative Asset Manager/Hedge Fund Middle Office, Administrator, Institutional Investment Bank, or Prime Broker
• Working knowledge of operational aspects of fixed income products, cash, and OTC derivatives
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, If/Then statements)
• Proficiency in Bloomberg data functions for live and historic market data
• Detailed understanding of P&L component calculations across all security types
