Job summary

ACTION International Services LLC is seeking an experienced Site Operations Coordinator to oversee multiple construction projects. You will plan site operations, coordinate resources, and ensure execution aligns with specifications while maintaining strict QHSE standards.

Responsibilities include documenting reports, supervising field teams, and collaborating with internal departments to optimize utilization. Strong English communication and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate required; a Trade Certificate or Diploma is an asset.
• 2+ years experience in site operations or construction, with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of groundwater control and general construction processes.
• Basic skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Valid driving license (Middle East license is an advantage).
• Good computer proficiency and ability to prepare and deliver operational reports.
• Good ability to work within a team to achieve results and maintain strong communication across stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours to meet deadlines.
• Good verbal & written communication skills in English.

• Operate within project requirements, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with specifications and method statements.
• Handle site resource planning, deployment, and monitoring to optimize utilization and reduce costs.
• Support the Line Manager in preparing progress reports, manpower plans, and operational updates.
• Establish safe and efficient working practices in accordance with QHSE policies and procedures.
• Deliver reports on site progress, equipment utilization, and employee attendance on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with Workshop, Inventory, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure any unsafe work practices are declined and immediately reported to the Safety Officer or Line Manager.
• Conduct any other tasks or projects assigned by the direct line manager.

General Description

This role is responsible for executing and coordinating multiple site projects (3-5) in line with company and project guidelines. It requires broad and extensive knowledge of the company’s practices, policies, and procedures. The role will plan site operations, coordinate resources and personnel, and deliver projects efficiently while ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

QHSE

• Make a deliberate effort to gain a full understanding and working knowledge of the company’s QHSE policies and procedures and ensure adherence at all times.
• Ensure safety targets are met and maintain zero tolerance for unsafe working practices or conditions.
• Decline any requests to perform unsafe work practices that may cause harm to people, property, or equipment.
• Notify the Safety Officer immediately regarding any unsafe or potentially hazardous situations on site.
• Before commencing site work, review and understand all relevant project specifications and requirements.
• Continuously monitor all work activities to ensure that quality, safety, and accuracy meet project standards.
• Notify the Line Manager of any defects, mistakes, errors, contamination, or variations identified during operations.

Cross Functional Support / Training

• Set direction and objectives for team members and ensure progress toward achieving development plans.
• Identify and address operational problems and opportunities, escalating relevant matters to the Line Manager for review and decision.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Assist the Line Manager in preparing a rolling 3-month manpower plan and provide justification for additional resources when required.

Qualification requirements

• Proven experience of 2+ years in site operations or construction environment, with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of groundwater control and general construction processes.
• Basic skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
