Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily construction activities in Dubai. You will coordinate manpower, subcontractors, engineers and site teams to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

The role requires a Diploma in an engineering field and 2–4 years of relevant supervisory experience, with UAE/GCC exposure preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success on this diverse, multicultural project

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/MEP or related field.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in construction or infrastructure.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred with regional practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE and safety requirements

• Support testing inspection snagging and project handover activities
• Coordinate civil mechanical MEP structural or general construction works based on assigned role

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant engineering or technical field, such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction, MEP, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant supervisory experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, infrastructure, MEP, or industrial projects.
• Previous UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred, with a good understanding of regional construction practices, site requirements, and working environments.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project documentation.
• Good knowledge of construction and site procedures, quality standards, inspection requirements, HSE regulations, and general workplace safety practices.
• Experience in supervising site workers, technicians, foremen, subcontractors, and other project personnel to ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Ability to monitor daily site activities, manpower allocation, materials, equipment, productivity, and overall work progress.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills with the ability to work effectively with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Ability to identify site-related issues and coordinate with the relevant team to ensure timely resolution and minimum disruption to project schedules.
• Basic knowledge of preparing daily progress reports, site activity reports, inspection records, and other project-related documentation.
• Candidates should be able to work under pressure, manage multiple site activities, and ensure assigned work is completed within quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Good understanding of material handling, site logistics, work planning, manpower management, and resource coordination will be preferred.
• Candidates who are interested in upgrading their Diploma qualification to a Bachelor’s Degree for future career growth and higher engineering/project management positions will be considered an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multicultural project teams in the UAE are preferred.
