Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Abu Dhabi seeks an Operations Supervisor focused on food safety and guest service. You will supervise and coordinate hotel kitchen operations, implement hygiene standards, train new hires, and advise on proper food handling practices to meet government requirements.

You will hire, train, schedule, evaluate, counsel, discipline, and motivate team members, while maintaining high quality and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Environmental Health or Culinary.
• 2–4 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate operations in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Advise on proper food handling practices and provide food hygiene training for new hires and trainees.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching employees.
• Address guests’ service needs and maintain positive working relationships to reach common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards and safe working conditions.
