Job summary

Accor in Dubai invites you to join as a Food & Beverage Service Intern, offering hands-on experience in restaurant and hospitality operations while maintaining high service standards.

You will greet guests, take orders, coordinate with kitchen, ensure hygiene, and adapt to rotating shifts across sub-departments within F&B. A diploma or bachelor in hospitality fields is required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling bills and payments.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Team player with a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages
• Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout service
• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in opening and closing procedures as required
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
• Adapt to rotating schedules and different sub-departments within the Food & Beverage Division as needed
