Role Context
Support restaurant and dining operations across Atlantis The Royal by creating memorable guest experiences for VIPs, celebrities, regular guests, groups, families, and international visitors. Possible progression to Attendant F&B, Waiter/Waitress, Head Waiter/Head Waitress, Captain, Supervisor, or Outlet Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and professional hospitality in the assigned restaurant, lounge, outdoor venue, banquet space, or in‑room dining operation.
- Present menus, explain dining concepts, describe dishes, highlight chef recommendations, and guide guests through food and beverage choices.
- Take orders accurately and communicate guest preferences, allergies, special requests, and timing requirements clearly to kitchen and service teams.
- Serve food and beverages according to outlet standards, table service sequence, guest expectations, and luxury resort procedures.
- Use thoughtful upselling techniques to recommend premium dishes, beverages, specials, add‑ons, tasting experiences, and signature menu items.
- Support smooth dining flow by monitoring tables, clearing items, refreshing settings, following up on orders, and anticipating guest needs.
- Assist with mise en place, table setup, side station preparation, glassware, cutlery, linen, menus, and outlet readiness before service.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and elevate complex concerns to supervisors or managers when required.
- Coordinate closely with service colleagues, kitchen teams, bar teams, stewarding, hosts, cashiers, supervisors, and outlet management.
- Support different service styles including casual dining, lifestyle dining, fine dining, celebrity chef venues, banquets, outdoor dining, and in‑room dining as assigned.
- Maintain strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, beverage options, promotions, and service standards.
- Follow hygiene, grooming, food safety, guest privacy, cash handling, and operational procedures during every shift.
- For senior roles, support section supervision, team guidance, shift coordination, guest issue follow‑up, and daily outlet performance.
Ideal Profile
- 1–5 years of food and beverage service experience in a reputable international hotel chain, resort, restaurant group, fine dining venue, lifestyle restaurant, banquet operation, or casual dining concept.
- Strong passion for restaurant service, guest care, hospitality standards, and memorable dining experiences.
- Good knowledge of preferred service style dynamics such as casual dining, outdoor venues, fine dining, celebrity chef service, banquets, or in‑room dining.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with service teams, kitchen teams, and management.
- Confident English communication skills with a polite, clear, and guest‑friendly service approach.
- Ability to work with varied clientele including VIPs, celebrities, regular guests, families, groups, and international visitors.
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail during fast‑paced operations.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining presentation, accuracy, and service energy.
- Supervisory experience is an advantage for Head Waiter, Head Waitress, Captain, Supervisor, or Outlet Assistant Manager opportunities.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, outdoor assignments, banquets, and peak dining periods as required.
