Job summary

D2B is seeking a Duty Manager / FOH Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations at a high-volume rooftop venue. You will coach the FOH team, coordinate with kitchen, bar and hotel management, and act as the responsible person on shift to uphold service standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in FOH supervision, NZ LCQ, and a General Manager's Certificate. Willingness to relocate to NZ is required. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety, and seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' FOH supervisory experience in a high-volume hospitality venue.
• Current LCQ qualification.
• Current General Manager's Certificate (NZ).
• Willing to relocate to NZ.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH team during service — floor coverage, table management, guest flow
• Act as responsible person on shift; ensure compliance with licensing and host responsibilities
• Greet guests, resolve complaints and service issues
• Monitor service standards across dining, bar, and event spaces
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams on food/beverage delivery
• Manage opening/closing procedures, including till reconciliation and end-of-shift reporting
• Support recruitment, induction, and training of FOH staff
• Run pre-shift briefings (specials, events, priorities)
• Assist with rostering and shift coordination
• Report maintenance, H&S, or operational issues to the Venue Manager
