The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a Floor Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant floor, ensuring exceptional service standards. The role involves supporting and motivating the team, coordinating with the kitchen, and maintaining member experiences.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in similar roles within luxury hotels or fine dining, a strong grasp of food and beverage trends, and excellent English skills. The position is pivotal in enhancing hospitality and operational excellence.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

The Floor Manager will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant floor ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered in line with expectations. The role involves supporting and motivating the front-of-house team, coordinating with the kitchen, maintaining seamless Member experiences, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism. The Floor Manager will act as the key point of contact for both colleagues and Members, ensuring smooth service and efficient problem solving at all times.

• Support with managing and overseeing the entire restaurant operation including the lounge area by providing a highly efficient and effective service.
• Support with planning new and updating existing food and beverage menus while working closely with respective department heads.
• Estimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory.
• Support with planning and developing the overall restaurant marketing strategy and implement innovative policies to improve productivity and sales.
• Ensure to maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility by controlling costs without compromising standards and the members’ and guests’ experience.
• Create and maintain daily and weekly reports including cash up, rota, summaries, manager logs, etc.
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions.
• Supervise the team and make sure that the correct standards and methods of service and food and beverage presentation are maintained throughout.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Food and Beverage products, trends and services.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
