in Dubai seeks a Business Development Manager to drive new growth for its FMCG trading operations from the Dubai office, focusing on relationships with distributors, importers and institutional buyers across the UAE and GCC. You will identify opportunities, maintain a strong pipeline, present our profiles and terms, and coordinate with finance on pricing and terms while tracking market trends in palm oil, rice, sugar and related commodities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record in business development within FMCG food commodities or related trading sectors.
• Existing network of buyers, distributors, or importers in the UAE and GCC is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of import/export documentation and product compliance requirements for food commodities.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using CRM or sales reporting tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Independent worker with ownership of the sales pipeline.
• Willing to travel within the UAE and GCC for client meetings.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• Fluent in English, Arabic or Hindi an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for FMCG and food commodity trading across the UAE and the wider GCC market.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective B2B buyers, distributors and importers.
• Approach potential clients directly and through referrals, trade groups and industry events.
• Prepare and present company profiles, product offerings and commercial terms to prospective clients.
• Coordinate with the CFO and management on pricing, credit terms and deal structuring.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and demand patterns for palm oil, rice, sugar and related commodities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings and deal progress and report regularly to management.
