Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, functional environment for all occupants and optimal building performance.

You will lead maintenance activities, manage security systems, coordinate space planning and moves, negotiate vendor contracts, and report KPIs to management to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have UAE driving license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or related field.
• Certifications such as CFM or FMP or equivalent.
• Experience in corporate/commercial environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS and related FM software.
• Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• English proficiency required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations for a safe, functional work environment.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities including repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Manage budgets for utilities, maintenance contracts, and supplies.
• Implement and enforce facility policies and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for facility-related issues and emergencies.

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of facility services ensuring a safe functional and efficient work environment for all occupants Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities including repairs preventative maintenance and vendor management to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifespan Manage and monitor budgets for facility operations including utilities maintenance contracts and supplies to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines Implement and maintain facility-related policies and procedures ensuring compliance with health safety and environmental regulations Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues promptly addressing and resolving complaints requests and emergencies Manage and maintain building security systems including access control surveillance and alarm systems to protect assets and personnel Coordinate space planning and allocation including office layouts renovations and moves to optimize space utilization and support business needs Manage vendor relationships including negotiating contracts monitoring performance and ensuring quality service delivery Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify potential issues ensure compliance and proactively address maintenance needs Prepare and present reports on facility performance including key performance indicators KPIs to management providing insights and recommendations for improvement

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of building systems and operations.
• Holds relevant certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facility Management Professional) or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in a corporate or commercial environment, with a strong understanding of facilities management principles.
• Demonstrates proficiency in relevant software and tools, including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other facility management software.
• Exhibits strong technical skills in building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Displays excellent soft skills, including communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A working proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
