Job summary

AIFI TECHNOLOGIES L.L.C in Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance of infrastructure, and safety compliance. The role focuses on managing MEP, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems while coordinating a team of technicians and external providers.

You will implement preventive maintenance, monitor budgets, and contribute to facility upgrades, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for all occupants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in facilities, property, site or building management.
• Strong understanding of MEP, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Hands-on preventive maintenance and facility operations experience.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors and service providers.
• Knowledge of HSE, safety standards, security protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to monitor budgets and support facility improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, building maintenance and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and government regulations.

• Monitor facility operational budgets, expenses and maintenance costs.
• Assist with capital improvement, renovation and facility upgrade projects.
• Identify facility-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, contracts and facility documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.2–5 years of relevant experience in facilities, property, site, or building management.
• Strong understanding of MEP, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, building maintenance, and facility operations.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, maintenance teams, and service providers.
• Good knowledge of HSE, health and safety standards, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to monitor budgets, track expenses, and support facility improvement projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant facility management software.
• Candidates with experience in engineering, R&D, manufacturing, industrial, or similar facility environments will be preferred.
