Job summary

The-Food- in Dubai is seeking a Floor Supervisor / Assistant Outlet Manager to support daily operations and ensure a smooth service flow. The role focuses on on-floor leadership, guest satisfaction, and maintaining standards across the outlet during opening, service, and closing periods.

You will lead a front-of-house team, coordinate reservations, monitor guest experiences, and assist with training and performance follow-up while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including supervisory or senior floor-level responsibility.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the floor during service, ensuring smooth guest flow and timely support to the service team.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and lead the shift in their absence.
• Monitor guest experience, address concerns professionally, and assist with service recovery.
• Coordinate table management, seating flow, reservations communication, and section balance.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational priorities and notes to the team.
• Supervise service staff, provide on-floor direction, and support training and performance follow-up.
• Ensure cleanliness, grooming, and presentation standards across the outlet.
• Support opening/closing procedures, cashing-up, stock checks, and daily readiness.
• Monitor hygiene, safety, and operational procedures on the floor.
• Escalate issues promptly to the relevant manager.
