Job summary

DSV Global transport and logistics seeks a Coordinator Fleet Management to monitor fleet activities, ensure timely deliveries, and track performance metrics. You will schedule vehicle inspections, address mechanical issues, and manage registrations and documentation with drivers and vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor or Diploma and 1–2 years in logistics/transport; strong communication, analytical, planning, and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree/ Diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 1–2 years in logistics and transport.
• Strong communications skills (oral & written).
• Analytical skills and proficiency with planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet activities to ensure timely and efficient deliveries or services.
• Track and report on fleet performance metrics (e.g. mileage, maintenance).
• Schedule regular vehicle inspections and servicing.
• Address mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, repairs and warranties.
• Ensure fleet compliance with local regulations (licensing, insurance, safety).
• Implement and monitor safety programs, conduct driver training and safety briefings.
• Prepare reports on fleet utilization, costs and efficiency.
• Manage vehicle registrations, insurance and documentation renewals.
• Collaborate with vendors for fuel, maintenance and leasing needs.
• Communicate with drivers to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Monitor fleet expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Suggest fleet upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
