Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Yard Operations Coordinator with a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in logistics to coordinate site operations and maintain safe, efficient yard activities.

You will ensure team availability, keep accurate records, and report daily activities to the manager, while upholding safety rules and driving continuous improvements across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Education) in Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the logistics industry.
• Bilingual is preferable; strong communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site operations team to ensure smooth yard activities.
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures for safe operations.
• Maintain accurate records of yard movements and documentation.
• Ensure team availability and update daily operation reports.
• Dispatch daily activities report to the manager.
• Manage tasks in hand, deadlines, and ongoing work.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with the site operations team.
• Coordinating the efficient and safe operation of the yard by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
• Keeping accurate records and documentation of yard activities.
• Ensuring team availability for operations.
• Updating daily reports related to operation.
• Sending the daily activities report to manager.
• Ensuring that the team follows the safety rules and regulations.
• Managing total task in hand, completion date and work under progress.
• Performing any other tasks that may be assigned by the manager from time to time to meet business exigencies.

Work Experience – 2 years of experience in Logistics industry
