Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Abu Dhabi seeks a Logistics Coordinator to support customers, coordinate imports/exports and ensure timely information and service levels.

You will work with origins, destinations, internal teams, carriers and suppliers to manage inspections, documentation, billing and KPI reporting, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in a relevant field
• 2–3 years experience in Air Freight is mandatory
• Excellent communication skills, organization and coordination abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and strong time management

Responsibilities

• Providing timely support and information to customers’ enquiries and issues; ensuring timely response within the desired service levels
• Coordinating with origins, destinations, customers, internal departments to ensure inspections, certifications and special processes for shipments are maintained and to raise customer satisfaction
• Preparing and sending SOPs/Routing details post-booking; updating files and forwarding documents to operations
• Handling and managing all clients’ claims and disputes; creating reports for management reviews
• Liaising with airlines and vendors, operations, and Customs to update customers on shipment status and obtain PODs
• Preparing inbound/outbound status reports, stock movement, ageing reports, and billing reports
• Measuring KPI’s and reporting to Manager; coordinating costs for timely invoicing
• Elevating problems and opportunities for improvement to Manager
• Performing any other related duties as assigned by Manager
