Job summary

Techies Institute is seeking a young, dynamic Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function in a fast-growing IT/technology services environment in Dubai. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic financial planning, budgeting, and commercial decisions.

The role offers a clear progression toward CFO, exposure to international markets, and significant autonomy with strong emphasis on cost control, governance, and scalable financial systems, while you help

Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in Finance, preferably in IT Services, SaaS, Technology, or IT Sales.
Mandatory experience with a technology/IT sales business.
Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, MIS, and financial analysis.
Excellent Excel/Google Sheets and ERP/accounting software skills.
CA / CMA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
High-growth mindset with the ambition to progress into a CFO role.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day finance, accounting, MIS, cash flow, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reports.
Work with Sales & Business Development on pricing, margins, commissions, deal profitability, and commercial decisions.
Track revenue, project profitability, collections, expenses, and key financial KPIs.
Ensure statutory compliance, audits, taxation, and strong financial controls.
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement, and finance automation.
Support business expansion, new markets, investments, and long-term financial planning.
Develop and drive the company's overall financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
Partner with the Founder/CEO on business strategy, expansion, investments, and growth decisions.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and profitability improvement initiatives.
Evaluate new markets, business opportunities, major contracts, and investments from a financial perspective.
Establish scalable financial systems, controls, MIS, and governance as the company grows.
Take ownership of financial risk management, working capital, and business performance.
Progressively build and lead the finance team and function toward a CFO-level role.
