Job summary

Techies Institute is seeking a young, dynamic Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function in a fast-growing IT/technology services environment in Dubai. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic financial planning, budgeting, and commercial decisions.

The role offers a clear progression toward CFO, exposure to international markets, and significant autonomy with strong emphasis on cost control, governance, and scalable financial systems, while you help

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in Finance, preferably in IT Services, SaaS, Technology, or IT Sales.
• Mandatory experience with a technology/IT sales business.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, MIS, and financial analysis.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets and ERP/accounting software skills.
• CA / CMA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
• High-growth mindset with the ambition to progress into a CFO role.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance, accounting, MIS, cash flow, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reports.
• Work with Sales & Business Development on pricing, margins, commissions, deal profitability, and commercial decisions.
• Track revenue, project profitability, collections, expenses, and key financial KPIs.
• Ensure statutory compliance, audits, taxation, and strong financial controls.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement, and finance automation.
• Support business expansion, new markets, investments, and long-term financial planning.
• Develop and drive the company's overall financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
• Partner with the Founder/CEO on business strategy, expansion, investments, and growth decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate new markets, business opportunities, major contracts, and investments from a financial perspective.
• Establish scalable financial systems, controls, MIS, and governance as the company grows.
• Take ownership of financial risk management, working capital, and business performance.
• Progressively build and lead the finance team and function toward a CFO-level role.
