Job summary

A leading Oil & Gas manufacturing company in Dubai seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead its accounting, reporting, compliance and project-control functions. The role covers IFRS closing, VAT and tax compliance, AP/AR, G/L, payroll, inventory and fixed assets, plus budgeting and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of finance experience, professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CMA/CPA), ERP proficiency and strong stakeholder management skills to drive robust internal

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/CMA/CPA) preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience in project accounting or project controls in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and corporate tax, budgeting, forecasting and audits.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing and financial reporting under IFRS.
• Ensure UAE VAT, corporate tax and statutory compliance, and manage audits.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, inventory and fixed assets.
• Build project budgets and cost baselines, track costs against forecast, flag overruns.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and manage working capital, collections and banking relationships.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management and ERP/accounting systems.
• Lead and develop the accounts and finance team, and provide clear financial insight to management.
