Job summary

Emarat is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee accounting and financial reporting for EMOIL and EMDAD in the UAE. The role focuses on IFRS compliance, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management in line with EMARAT policies.

You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial processing. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of related experience, and ACCA/CPA/CMA qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA is preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and closing experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, terminal operations, JV accounting or related industries is preferred.
• Experience in audit coordination, reconciliations and internal control requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for EMOIL and EMDAD.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Monitor balance sheet accounts and follow up outstanding or reconciling items.
• Ensure accounting entries comply with EMARAT policies, IFRS and approved procedures.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, business plans and cash flow projections.
• Analyze actual performance against budget and provide variance explanations.
