Job summary

Orion Technology Systems in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. You will manage cash flow, budgets, forecasts, project profitability, and procurement workflows while guiding a finance team.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to work under strict reporting deadlines, coordinating with auditors, banks, and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• CA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience with accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP software and Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and working capital.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding receivables.
• Review supplier invoices, payments, POs, and supporting documents.
• Monitor project profitability and financial performance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for management decisions.
• Supervise the finance and accounting team.
• Maintain proper accounting records and internal controls.

Job description

Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports Monitor company cash flow receivables payables and working capital Prepare and monitor budgets forecasts and financial plans Ensure timely collection of customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables Review supplier invoices payments purchase orders and supporting documents Monitor project-wise profitability costs and financial performance Prepare project statements of accounts and support management with financial analysis Manage bank accounts bank reconciliations and cash transactions Coordinate with auditors banks suppliers customers and other external parties Ensure compliance with UAE VAT Corporate Tax and other applicable financial regulations Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Review payroll-related financial transactions and coordinate with HR Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate internal controls Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions Support management in contract reviews commercial negotiations and financial planning Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT ,Corporate Tax and E-Invoicing requirements.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Experience in project-based or contracting companies is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in ELV, systems integration, or project-based companies will be an added advantage.
