Job summary

Chart Industries, through Howden, is seeking an Accounts & Administrative Assistant to support our Middle East operations in Dubai. The role blends finance tasks with a wide range of admin duties, including JAFZA compliance, visa renewals, insurance renewals, and general office coordination.

You will assist with journals and data entry, AP/AR tasks, filing, banking submissions, and coordinating with service providers.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Finance/ Accounting/Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a finance-focused role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Knowledge of JAFZA administrative processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Accounting: assisting in the preparation and recording of manual journal entries and updating bank records.
• Data entry tasks for the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• JAFZA administrative tasks including visa renewals, lease renewals, and coordinating with typing centers.
• Visa renewals for employees sponsored through agents.
• Insurance renewals: collect and organize information.
• Vehicle renewals support and documentation.
• Bank-related tasks: submitting documents and visiting banks.
• Filing and organizing finance-related documents.
• Office stationery and pantry supplies management.
• Facility maintenance coordination with sub-vendors and contractors.
• Post box management: mail handling, renewal, and register maintenance.
• Transportation arrangement for office guests.
• Ad-hoc tasks as needed.
