Job summary

LANG Middle East in Dubai is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial tasks in a small, confidential team. You will handle invoicing, supplier bills, payments, and ERP record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will also chase overdue payments, perform bank reconciliations, manage expense claims, and assist with month-end processes while maintaining discretion across client projects in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Background in accounting or finance through qualification or relevant work experience.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Confident chasing payments politely but firmly, with strong communication when dealing with clients and suppliers.
• Good Excel skills and experience with an accounting or ERP system.
• Comfortable working in Dubai and collaborating within a multicultural team; prior experience in rental, events or a similar project based business is an advantage.
• Organised, reliable and detail focused, who likes things to add up.
