Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi seeks a Site Civil Engineer to oversee civil activities on renewable EPC projects, guaranteeing designs, safety, quality, and schedule adherence at the construction site.

You will coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and environmental teams, manage on-site QA/QC, materials, and inspections, and report progress to project management. The role requires a civil engineering degree and 2–5 years of relevant renewable energy experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed engineer or equivalent certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong knowledge of materials and methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site civil works (foundations, roads, drainage) and ensure alignment with designs and safety standards.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and methods for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to maintain schedule and budgets.
• Conduct field tests (soil compaction, concrete strength) and document results.
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations; perform site QA/QC tasks.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and assist in project handovers.
