Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in the United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled Civil Engineer to lead civil, structural and geotechnical work on Utility-Scale Solar PV and BESS projects. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
8–12 years of site execution experience, with at least 2 years of direct field execution on utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.
Experience in pile driving, reinforcement concrete, and foundations, and field QA/QC.

Responsibilities

Monitor the layout, installation, and load-testing (pull-out tests) of driven or screw piles for solar racking and tracking systems.
Direct the reinforcement, formwork, and concrete pouring for heavy equipment foundations, including BESS containers, inverters, and transformers.
Conduct field inspections and witness tests (soil compaction, concrete slump/cube tests, pile alignment) against the QA/QC plan.
Enforce company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental protocols across all civil execution activities.
