Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Site Engineer Electrical (PV) to oversee all electrical on-site activities for a large-scale solar project. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant installation of electrical systems in line with design specs and UAE regulations.

You will collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project teams, coordinate with subcontractors, manage permits, and report progress to the project manager while maintaining a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 6–12 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems in large-scale solar power plants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all Electrical engineering activities on-site for the solar project.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and project teams for seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and promote a safety culture on site.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of electrical installations.
