Job summary

KONE in the UAE is seeking a Collections Specialist to support credit control and collection processes for the Service Business, driving invoicing efficiency, dispute resolution, and reporting.

Based in Dubai, Sharjah, or Abu Dhabi, the role requires a finance background, UAE driving license, and fluency in English. Approximately 75% of activities are field-based to engage with customers and resolve collection issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance.
• Proven experience in high-volume corporate field collections.
• Knowledge of order-to-cash processes, billing, and collections procedures.
• Accounts receivable experience is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• A valid UAE driving license and prior UAE work experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, including customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.
• Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Perform other tasks and duties to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process when necessary.
• Communicate and follow up effectively with the sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with dealers and sales.
