Job summary

Kerzner International Limited in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager Engineering to support the Director of Engineering in daily operations, asset maintenance, and project execution. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and reliability in a luxury hotel setting.

You will supervise technicians, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining the highest standards of service and asset performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel engineering or hospitality maintenance.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering in overseeing daily engineering operations, maintenance schedules and departmental budgets.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems, equipment and assets.
• Supervise engineering technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks to standards.
• Prepare scopes of work and BOQs for maintenance, refurbishment, CAPEX and FF&E projects.
• Ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire and life safety systems operate safely and comply with regulations.
• Monitor maintenance requests, work orders and records through the CMMS for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors for maintenance works and testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel engineering procedures.
