Job summary

InterContinental Residence Suites in Dubai seeks a Maintenance Manager (Engineering) to oversee hotel apartment facilities, including HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring IHG standards and energy efficiency. You will lead engineers, manage budgets, and drive preventive maintenance initiatives.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate across departments in a busy luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with electrical focus preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years in a similar hospitality maintenance role.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules and supervise engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel apartment facility, including building structure, all mechanical, electrical, FLS, HVAC systems per maintenance programmes.
• Ensure upkeep of guest areas to meet IHG standards.
• Plan, execute and control maintenance work and related budgets.
• Schedule and supervise engineers and colleagues.
• Ensure safety procedures per IHG, HACCP, Dubai Civil Defence standards.
• Provide inductions and training for new joiners and ongoing staff development.
