Job summary
Azizi Developments seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and fabrication of aluminum façade systems, including curtain walls, glazing, and cladding. You will ensure structural safety, code compliance, and practical constructability for factory fabrication and on-site installation.
The role requires 5–8 years in aluminum/façade projects, proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD, and strong coordination with Façade Designers, BIM Modelers, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in aluminum, façade, curtain wall, glazing or building envelope.
- Experience with wind loads, deflection criteria, thermal movement, and connection design.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Eurocode, BS, AAMA, ASTM standards.
- Experience in aluminum fabrication or façade manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze aluminum and façade systems including curtain walls, glazing, and cladding.
- Prepare structural calculations for profiles, mullions, transoms, and anchors.
- Review drawings to identify requirements and coordination issues.
- Coordinate with Façade Designers, BIM Modelers, Architects, and other disciplines.
- Support factory fabrication and site installation with technical input.
- Ensure designs comply with UAE/local authority requirements.
- Review technical documents and ensure revision control.
- Participate in site inspections and technical meetings.
