Job summary

Facade and Building Jobs in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and fabrication readiness of aluminum facade systems, including curtain walls, glazing, and cladding. You will ensure structural safety and compliance from design through to installation.

You'll review drawings, perform calculations, coordinate with BIM and architectural teams, and produce compliant deliverables for factory fabrication and site work, with a focus on wind loads,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in aluminum/facade or building envelope.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design of aluminum/façade systems.
• Knowledge of wind loads, deflection criteria, thermal movement, and connection design.
• Experience with aluminum profiles, mullions, transoms, brackets, and fixing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for aluminum and façade systems.
• Prepare structural calculations for profiles, mullions, transoms, and reinforcements.
• Assess design loads including wind, dead, live, thermal movements.
• Verify deflection, stress, stability, and overall structural performance.
• Coordinate with Façade Designers, BIM Modelers, Architects, and other disciplines.
• Provide structural input during design development and shop drawing stages.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with designs.
