Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi is seeking a non-management Food and Beverage supervisor to guide restaurant staff, ensure exceptional service, and uphold the Gold Standards. You will oversee opening and closing duties, maintain grooming standards, and promote safety and guest satisfaction.

As a team leader you will train, coach, and evaluate colleagues, coordinate with management on scheduling, and support peak service periods while protecting guest privacy and property assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related work experience: at least 2 years.
• Supervisory experience: at least 1 year.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect grooming and attire, rectify deficiencies, and maintain professional appearance.
• Complete opening/closing duties, prepare supplies, and clean equipment/areas.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
• Uphold safety and security policies; protect company assets and confidentiality.
• Develop relationships with guests, anticipate needs, and respond to concerns.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards; identify ways to improve efficiency and cost-savings.
