The ideal candidate has proven pastry experience, culinary education, and strong leadership skills to train a kitchen team and collaborate on seasonal menus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation.
• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts preferred.

We are a renowned pastry shop in Sharjah, seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team of talented and passionate bakers. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering high-quality products that exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create new and innovative pastry recipes that align with our brand's vision and customer preferences
• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods
• Ensure that all products are made with high-quality ingredients and meet food safety standards
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient production process
• Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to develop seasonal menus and promotions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or pastry shop
• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes while also maintaining quality consistency
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English (Malayalee speakers preferred)
