Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Originator/Trader in Environmental Products to develop FAB's Carbon Markets franchise across Compliance and Voluntary Markets. The role requires leadership in pricing, risk management and client origination within the UAE carbon ecosystem, coordinating with ESG, sales and coverage teams to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years’ experience in commodity trading with strong carbon expertise.
Strong knowledge of commodity markets, trading platforms and trading systems.
Demonstrable track record of managing commodities risk.
Promotes cooperation within the team and stakeholders; open dialogue between desks.
Anticipates customer needs and builds positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Develop FAB Carbon Markets franchise (Compliance and Voluntary Markets).
Enhance desk capabilities and grow the Carbon franchise.
Participate in UAE carbon ecosystems and working groups; represent FAB.
Develop offerings for regional/global clients; collaborate with sales and coverage teams.
Trade, price and risk manage all carbon products; support pricing and origination.
