Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage GM’s Structured Trading & Solutions activities, overseeing transaction structuring, pricing, risk analysis, and collaboration with junior traders.

The role involves developing new products, refining pricing models with quant teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring colleagues while delivering profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, commerce or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant markets experience in similar positions.
• Strong structuring & trading experience in financing illiquid assets (loans, private markets, CLOs) and risk management.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in managing risk and delivering financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business strategy and manage customer flow to meet budget.
• Develop pricing and work with Sales to grow client franchise.
• Mentor junior staff and enhance desk capabilities.
• Collaborate with risk teams to adapt mandates and controls.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
