Job summary

Jex Recruitment is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the planning, delivery and execution of high-quality events across the UAE and internationally. You will own end-to-end event management, coordinating with senior stakeholders, venues, agencies and partners to deliver exceptional experiences in fast-paced environments.

The role requires delivering technology, innovation, corporate or industry events, with strong communications and budget management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event management, ideally within technology, innovation, digital, financial services or another fast-paced corporate environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale conferences, exhibitions or technology-focused events.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to work with senior executives, government stakeholders, speakers, partners and VIPs.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and delivery of events, from initial concept and budgeting through to execution and post-event evaluation.
• Deliver a range of events including technology conferences, exhibitions, executive events, product launches, industry forums, roundtables and corporate experiences.
• Develop event concepts, agendas, timelines and project plans aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Manage relationships with venues, production companies, agencies, suppliers and other external partners.
• Coordinate speakers, VIPs, sponsors, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Marketing, Communications, PR and Brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and strong event promotion.
• Support the development of event communications, including invitations, speaker communications, briefing materials and post-event content.
• Manage event budgets, contracts and supplier negotiations.
• Oversee on-site delivery, ensuring events run smoothly and to a consistently high standard.
• Manage multiple events and projects simultaneously, often against demanding timelines.
• Support and deliver events outside the UAE where required.
• Track event performance, attendee engagement and feedback to continuously improve future events.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering technology, innovation, corporate or industry events, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. This role will suit someone who is comfortable owning events end-to-end, working with senior stakeholders, managing external partners and delivering exceptional experiences in fast-paced environments.

International events experience and a background spanning events and communications would be highly advantageous.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in event management, ideally within technology, innovation, digital, financial services or another fast-paced corporate environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale conferences, exhibitions or technology-focused events is highly desirable.
• Strong communications, PR or corporate communications experience would be a significant advantage.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior executives, government stakeholders, speakers, partners and VIPs.
• Experience managing external agencies, production partners and event suppliers.
• Commercially aware with experience managing event budgets.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and managing several priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Existing experience in the UAE or wider GCC is preferred.
• International experience delivering events across multiple countries or markets would be highly valued.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
