Xpand Group is seeking an experienced Project Event Manager to lead planning, development, and execution of high-profile events for a leading FinTech organisation in the UAE. You will manage the full lifecycle across FinTech, AI, innovation, technology, digital transformation, and financial services events.

The role requires handling corporate, B2B conferences, summits, and forums with multiple stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers while coordinating with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of experience in event/project management
• Fluent Arabic is preferred with excellent English communication

• Develop and execute end-to-end event strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead planning and delivery of FinTech, AI, innovation, technology, and corporate events.
• Translate objectives into concepts, formats, agendas, and attendee experiences.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and delivery frameworks.
• Manage multiple events, agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders across timelines.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Partnerships, Product, and senior leadership.
• Establish event KPIs and measure ROI, engagement, and impact.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new formats, technologies, and experiences.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Event Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of high-profile events for a large and leading FinTech organisation.

The role will manage the full event lifecycle across FinTech, AI, innovation, technology, digital transformation, and financial services events, from initial concept and strategic planning through to execution, post-event evaluation, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing corporate, B2B, conferences, summits, forums, exhibitions, innovation events, or technology-focused experiences, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and projects simultaneously.

Arabic language fluency is preferred, particularly given the organisation's engagement with regional stakeholders, government entities, financial institutions, and senior executives across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and execute end-to-end event strategies aligned with the company's business, brand, and engagement objectives.
• Lead the planning and delivery of FinTech, AI, innovation, technology, financial services, and corporate events.
• Translate business objectives into compelling event concepts, formats, agendas, and attendee experiences.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and event delivery frameworks.
• Manage multiple events and projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
• Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, Product, Innovation, Corporate Affairs, and senior leadership.
• Develop event KPIs and measure event performance, engagement, attendance, ROI, and overall impact.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new event formats, technologies, and innovative experiences.

Speaker & Content Coordination:

• Support the development of event agendas and session formats in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
• Manage speaker invitations, confirmations, briefing, logistics, and on-site requirements.
• Coordinate with senior executives, industry leaders, government representatives, and subject-matter experts.
• Ensure event content and experiences are aligned with key themes including FinTech, AI, digital transformation, innovation, future of finance, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of experience in event/project management, preferably within FinTech, Event Management, financial services, technology, AI, innovation, banking, or a large corporate environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end events, conferences, summits, forums, corporate events, exhibitions, or innovation-focused programmes.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing event agencies, production companies, suppliers, procurement processes, and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder and partnership management experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior executives, government stakeholders, partners, speakers, and external suppliers.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Fluent Arabic is preferred, with excellent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE/GCC event landscape is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly corporate and technology-driven environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required for events.
