Job summary

Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility is seeking an Automotive Repair Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BYD vehicles in a high-standard EV workshop. You will ensure safety, adhere to 5S practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the Aftersales Retail Team.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to service procedures, and a commitment to professional standards while delivering exceptional customer service and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and vehicle repairs.
• Good understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow workshop manuals and service procedures.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Passion for learning new technologies and EV systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance diagnostics and repair work on BYD vehicles.
• Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure Fix It Right and First-Time-Right repair standards are achieved.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
• Follow workshop safety quality and 5S standards.
• Meet productivity and utilization targets.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a clean and professional workshop environment.
