Al-Futtaim Automotive, in partnership with BYD, seeks an EV Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair BYD electric vehicles, with emphasis on high-voltage safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in automotive trades.
• 2-3 years experience as an automotive/EV technician.
• Experience with EV/high-voltage systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repair on BYD EVs.
• Diagnose EV systems including high-voltage components and battery systems.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards.
• Complete repairs right the first time to minimize downtime.
• Support EV Check (EVC) reporting and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV technology.
