Job summary

Structural Group, Inc. is seeking an estimator in Abu Dhabi to define scope, prepare comprehensive cost estimates, and support project teams. The role emphasizes reading plans, preparing bid items, and coordinating with subcontractors while maintaining a 24/7 safety mindset.

Successful candidates will have 3–5 years in construction management or civil engineering, strong Excel and CRM skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff in estimating practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction management / civil engineering experience.
• Experience with estimating and cost control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines and quantifies scope of work and prepares estimates for projects.
• Drafts letters and written communications to customers/owners.
• Ensures pricing of materials and subcontracts is timely and accurate.
• Maintains involvement in change orders.
• Maintains knowledge through workshops and professional networks.
• Develops relationships with clients and uncovers sales opportunities.
• Mentors PE's or interns in estimating rotations.
• Prepares estimates with take-offs, price lists, and labor/equipment costs.
• Reads contract specs and plans to guide pricing decisions.
