Job summary

STRUCTURAL Group is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on self-performed concrete restoration and structural repair, overseeing the full lifecycle of estimating from takeoffs to final bid submissions.

The candidate will develop budgets, pricing strategies, and detailed proposals, collaborating with clients and industry partners to win work while coordinating with operations for project handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of progressive estimating experience, with self-performed concrete restoration/structural repair experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple estimates concurrently and mentoring junior estimators.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and estimating software such as OST/Bluebeam; ability to read drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by quantity takeoffs, labor, materials, equipment pricing and subcontractor proposals.
• Develop conceptual, budgetary, and final bid estimates from drawings, specs, and site conditions.
• Create preliminary schedules with sequencing and duration assumptions to support pricing and bid strategy.
• Lead bid reviews with stakeholders to validate pricing and final submissions.
• Develop proposals with defined scopes, approaches, inclusions/exclusions and risk mitigation.
• Engage with clients and partners to gather feedback and support business development.
• Coordinate with operations and field teams for smooth handoff upon award.
