Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES LLC invites an Engineer (Estimation) in Dubai to support quantity take-offs, cost estimation and proposal preparation for structural projects. The role covers BOQ development and coordination with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors on site.

You will perform material, labor and equipment quantity calculations, maintain estimation databases and ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of estimation principles.
• Basic knowledge of NDTs/SDTs methods is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction fieldwork, concrete repair, rehabilitation and strengthening is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Perform material, labor and equipment quantity calculations.
• Prepare cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Maintain estimation databases and cost records; ensure timely submission.
