Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group in Dubai invites expressions of interest for a Rolling Stock Inspector (Factory) role. Qualifications

• 10+ years in rolling stock inspection and QA.
• Familiarity with EN IEC ISO standards and factory audits.

Responsibilities

We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest for the following roles as part of a confidential metro rolling stock consultancy bid project in Dubai. All positions are full-time UAE-based and require strong GCC experience with preference given to candidates with RTA project exposure.

About the Role: The Rolling Stock Inspector (Factory) will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections and verifications during the manufacturing assembly and testing of rolling stock units at the OEM factory. This role ensures product compliance with technical specifications safety requirements and quality benchmarks prior to delivery to Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect components and systems during vehicle assembly and testing
• Validate compliance with approved drawings specifications and standards
• Witness FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and ensure issue resolution tracking
• Maintain detailed inspection logs NCR reports and photographic records
• Coordinate with design assurance and client representatives on factory progress

Requirements:

• BSc in Mechanical Electrical or Railway Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in rolling stock inspection and quality assurance
• Strong familiarity with international manufacturing and safety standards (EN IEC ISO)
• Experience in factory-based quality audits for metro/rail vehicle procurement
• Ability to travel and remain stationed at OEM location for the full assignment duration
