Job summary

Responsibilities

• At start of each shift, ensure par levels and initiate orders from internal store.
• Assist in opening/closing pastry department per norms and procedures; stock/receiving as needed.
• Prepare pastry items following recipes, HACCP standards, portion control and presentation guidelines; distribute orders to outlets.
• Maintain workstation sanitation during shift; clean fridge, shelves, counters; sharpen knives and clean utensils.
• Follow security, fire safety and general safety procedures; report incidents to management.
• Check shelf life, label production and expiry dates, monitor waste figures.
• Maintain product knowledge to address inquiries and provide insights.
