Job summary

Deeplight AI in Dubai seeks an authoritative Data Architecture Lead to govern enterprise data architecture across major banking engagements. You will define target architectures, ensure design integrity, and sign-off on solution designs with senior stakeholders.

You will lead governance boards, shape multi-year data roadmaps, and architect high-throughput, real-time data pipelines for mobile banking and digital journeys. Strong communication to C-level stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data architecture leadership in consultancies or financial institutions
• Retail Banking data architecture experience (RBG)
• Experience supporting client-facing mobile banking apps or real-time digital journeys
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
• Ability to defend design choices to CTO/CDO/CIO-level stakeholders
• Experience evaluating cloud cost, BOMs, and vendor change requests on architectural grounds

Responsibilities

• Serve as Estate Design Authority for enterprise data estate ensuring architectural alignment
• Define, document and maintain enterprise target data architecture and roadmaps
• Lead Governance board reviews and approve all solution designs before build
• Architect high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines for real-time digital journeys
• Review SteerCo packs and challenge designs diverging from target state
• Evaluate Change Requests for architectural justification and flag cross-project trade-offs
