Job summary

Deeplight AI is seeking a Data Modelling & Engineering Lead to own enterprise data models, business definitions, and engineering standards across major banking engagements in the UAE. You will bridge conceptual data structures with production-grade engineering, guiding senior engineers and auditing vendor outputs to ensure high-quality data artifacts.

You will present to C-level stakeholders, defend engineering rigor, and drive platform-wide practices for scalable, secure, and auditable data

Qualifications

• Lead enterprise data models, glossaries, and pipelines across banking programs.
• Define firm-wide engineering standards covering pipelines, testing, environment strategies, and CI/CD automation.
• Direct senior data engineers embedded in project squads to ensure adoption of shared components and patterns.
• Audit vendor codebases and verify data artifacts before production release.
• Present progress and technical rigor to SteerCo and C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data models & glossaries, ensuring semantic consistency across streams.
• Set platform and pipeline standards for code quality and testing.
• Direct senior project engineers to ensure alignment with architecture principles.
• Oversee vendor build quality and assess engineering approaches.
• Assure SteerCo content and progress claims with independent audits.
• Validate estimates and investigate delays to identify root causes.
