Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch is seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as the principal technical advisor and customer advocate for enterprise clients across Compute, Storage, Database, and more. You will craft and execute strategies to drive adoption and ensure operational health of AWS environments.

You will engage with startups to Fortune 500s, collaborating with Architects and Sales teams, and guiding customers through incidents, trade-offs and risk management in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships with customers and understand their business needs.
• Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Consult with partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, pre-launch planning.
