Job summary

Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking an experienced Engineering Inventory Coordinator to maintain and continuously improve the hotel’s spare parts, materials, tools, and consumables inventory. You will ensure records are accurate, stock levels are optimal, and supplier details are up to date to support daily operations and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineering inventory, purchasing or similar operations.
• Hospitality, facilities management or technical environment experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Excellent organization, detail orientation and record-keeping accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Integrity and accountability in inventory and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Engineering inventory system for spare parts, materials, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date, including stock levels, locations, and supplier details.
• Establish and monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to support operational requirements.
• Track inventory usage and proactively replenish critical materials and spare parts.
• Control and record the receipt, issuance, return, and movement of Engineering inventory and tools.
• Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and manage obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
• Coordinate Engineering purchase requisitions, ensuring specifications, quantities, and documentation are accurate.
• Liaise with Purchasing, vendors, Receiving, and Finance to manage orders, deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory records while providing reports and updates to Engineering management.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and continuously improve the Engineering inventory system for spare parts, materials, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date, including stock levels, locations, and supplier details.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in Engineering coordination, inventory control, purchasing, or a similar operational role.
• Experience within hospitality, facilities management, or a technical/engineering environment preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with inventory or purchasing systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and record‑keeping accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
• Problem‑solving mindset, high integrity, and accountability in managing inventory and purchasing processes.
• Basic knowledge of engineering materials, spare parts, and maintenance equipment, combined with a high level of integrity and accountability.
