Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel at DIFC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the hotel’s engineering team, ensuring safe, reliable operations across all systems and facilities. You will oversee maintenance programs and drive continuous improvement in a luxury environment.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with other departments to deliver world-class service for guests and residents alike.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a 5-star luxury resort/hotel in a similar role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Engineering department roles.
• Qualification in Technical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise staff in carrying out work schedules as well as spot checking to verify quality and employee performance.
• Ensures timely and accurate sub meter, chemical treatment and engine room logs.
• Ensures that all meter readings on heat, light and power are taken on a daily basis and reviewed for consumption.
• Assists in compiling a monthly consumption report on heat, light and power to include electricity, gas, steam and water.
• Sets-up fire life safety system, valve locations and other emergency procedures that involves the department.
• Manages the Engineering Department of the Hotel’s operation.
• Ensures effective communication and good relations between the maintenance department and other departments in the Residence Club.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Previous 3 – 5 years’ experience within 5* luxury resort/hotel in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Engineering area.
• Qualification in Technical Engineering
